I really enjoyed a beach we vacationed at in Georgia. It wasn't too large and it was located on Tybee Island. Right off the beach was a steet filled with quaint stores for shopping. It was neat to see people walking up and down this street still in their swim wear. I bought myself a wonderful Panama Jack hat there.
There is also a huge dock with a pavillion that goes out over the water. Some folks were fishing and I saw a man pull in a stingray! This was the first upclose look I've had at one of those.
