Thats how i feel, I just want to have a save place to lay my head with no bugs or a smell and clean sheets. Now if I were rich I think I would look more for the ammenties depending on what I pay for.

I'm more concerned about the ammenities myself.  Vacations are rare for me, so I try to save as mucha s I can so I can splurge and stay at good hotels.  Since I don't really care that much about experiencing the place's nightlife, I want a comfortable place to saty in for the evening.

I have to agree with Coda.  It all depends on how long I am there and how much work I am trying to fit in.  If I am busy seeing clients all day, who really cares if the hotel has A+ gym facilities?  But if I am travelling with my family.  It is nice to have those ammenities (such as a games room and a pool).  It just depends.

I usually look at the price first and then compare ammenities among hotels in my price range.  When I have more money and are going somewhere for a hotel spa experience I look at the ammenities first and then to the prices.
