    Sandals All Inclusive

Does anyone have any experience with any of the Sandals All Inclusive Packages?  My husband and I are trying to plan a trip to the Bahamas or to Jamaica in the future.  i was wondering if the all inclusive is really worth the extra money.  Are the food and drinks decent?  Are there enough activities to keep you busy?  Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have been on a couple of those, and some of my friends and family have gone as well.

The food is wonderful, they are not stingy with drinks, etc. You really have no need to leave the resort.

This is only my opinion but I think it is worth the extra you pay.

I haven't been, but a friend of mine swears by the Sandals resorts.  The all-inclusive nature of them makes them quite appealing.

My parents swear by Sandals - they've been many times and won't even consider another all-inclusive now. Apparently the food is very good and there's a wide variety to choose from.

As for activities, you should be able to find out on their website what's available at the time of year you're going. And I think they arrange side trips for shopping and that kind of thing too.

I've heard good things about Sandals resorts as well. I keep seeing ads for them on TV and it does look rather attractive. Except for single people! But something certainly to consider.

    Re: Sandals All Inclusive

I've often wondered about trying an all inclusive holiday.

Only thing is though, I am not really that bothered about being "entertained" by the hotel. We prefer to explore the locality and find our own entertainment. It really depends on where you are though - I suppose there are some places where going off on your own is not really advisable. We have holidayed recently in places like Andalucia, Ibiza and Turkey, where going off on your own is perfectly feasible.
