    Dominican Republic?

    We haven't been there for years, but we've had nice vacations at the Dominican.

    We preferred the north coast near Puerto Plata and Sosua.

    Has anyone else here been there?

    I am fascinated most from this side of world but have heard there is hot weather always is it true?

    Sure, it's one of the favorite places to go on vacation.  Relatively close to US, good climate and excellent prices.  I particularly like Punta Cana but I have never heard about Sosua.  Are there a lot of resorts in Sosua?

    I haven't been myself, but I have some friends that just got married over there, and I'm so jealous - the pictures they sent back made it look wonderful!
