    Re: cuba

No, Americans are not allowed to travel to Cuba.  Sale of any travel related products (airfare, vacations, etc) to US citizen is prohibited.  The situation might change in the near future if the new government decides to chang its policies.  Who knows

    Re: cuba

As far as I know, it's not illegal for all Americans to travel to Cuba, only most Americans.  I would love to go as well, but I know you have to fall into certain special categories to be able to go legally.

I came across a website that helps with arranging travel to Cuba but it's down for maintenance. Maybe you could try checking back periodically. It's http://www.marazulcharters.com/

ANother site that gives helpful info is http://www.ccr-ny.org/v2/legal/cuba/cuba.asp. They give info about specific cases as well as laws.

    Hope this helps. Smile

    Re: cuba

I haven't heard about any wars in Cuba, Michael. Perhaps you are thinking of some other country?

    Re: cuba

Cuba looked, referring to the natural setting, like a nice place based on what was shown in the last Bond movie-"Die Another Day."
