    Bus travel in the US

Does anyone have experience with bus travel in the US?  Are there any scenic routes worth taking, or enjoyable rides - more than just getting from point A to point B?

I have rarely travelled in Bus in US. I hardly remember that I was about of 12 at that time. We have travelled from somewhere to colorado. That was wonderfull.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but long-distance bus travel in the US is generally the province of the poor, and bus stations tend to be located in crummy neighborhoods.

I think you'll enjoy more in the scenic routes in Greyhound itinerary. You'll see the Mississippi during daylight. You can spend a full day travelling through the most scenic portion of the Colorado Rockies. Its late evening arrival in Las Vegas shows the neon lighted city at its best. Anyone here tried that?

When it comes to bus travel everything is scenic to me, Depending on what city you run through, you may have alot or you may have a little bit. For most of your journey though, you will have mostly trees and highway.
