    regarding Puerto Rico...

My husband is an American citizen but his name is Spanish. I know we don't need passports to go to Puerto Rico, but in light of his name, should he have one just to be on the safe side? I would hate to have him get stuck there until I can procure the proper documents, etc.

wouldn't you just love to beeeeeeeeeee me? "-)

I'm not sure about it Bee_lady. I just wondered if the name of your husband is a big deal in Puerto Rico. I don't think so. Inorder to be sure, you can ask any travel agency. I think they know about it.

bee_lady, you don't need Passport to go to PR.  Driver's license is sufficient.  Actually this is the reason why PR is seeing a big jump in American tourists this year.

I don't think I've seen any websites or brochures for vacations in Puerto Rico.

Does it have a tourist industry comparable to somewhere like Jamaica?
