    Alcohol

Do you think the drinking gets out of hand on mexican vacations? I hear horror stories...

    Re: Alcohol

I did not notice anything out of the ordinary during my visit.  Maybe only during spring breaks.  I think horror stories are told by those who do not participate in the "fun" Big Smile [:D]

    Re: Alcohol

Or, maybe those horror stories are from those with low alcohol tolerance lol

    Re: Alcohol

A friend of mine told a story of a beer truck coming by his hotel just like an ice cream truck every morning.

    Re: Alcohol

I'm not personally a big drinker, but that is awesome. A beer truck, wow. I love the visual in my head right now, all twinkling music as it calls people to get their early morning beers.

WOW, how thoughtful.  Sometimes you need beer medicine in the morning Wink [;)] For some reason that truck did not stop near my hotel.

    Re: Alcohol

You think that is thoughtful?  In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the campus of Marquette University, they have limousines riding around and picking up drunk students for free.

    Re: Alcohol

thats why people go to mexico for the drinking. If you dont want to be around it thats not the best place to be at.

    Re: Alcohol

As someone who has lived in Mexico for longer periods of time I definitely think that people go to Mexico to drink and let loose and yes, sometimes get wild.  I think it is always funny when people do that though, and then lose it so much tha soething bad happens to them and then they want to blame it on the fact that they were in Mexico so it should have been expected, instead of blaming themselves and their stupid behavior

    Re: Alcohol

I don't think that there's anything about Mexico that makes people drink more there. The Americans and Canadians I've seen on vacation there chose how much to drink, and for some of them it was a bit too much.

I think some people get careless while on vacation and sometimes bad things happen because of that.
