    Re: Inexpensive Trips

I have never found any cruises that cheap.  They are usually a ridiculous price from the travel agencies around here.  And I even live in a small town area where things are sometimes less expensive.

I think it depends on what you buy, what type of cruise package you get. Some go for a week and to be honest I don't think that they go for any longer than that.

    Re: Inexpensive Trips

It is easy to find rates that inexpensive as it get closer to sailing time and also depending on what the cruise is for and where it is going, etc. You can get really good information about cruising specials at cruise-ships-vacations-guide.com they have a bunch of information about the ships themselves, the specials that are offered and much more.

    Re: Inexpensive Trips

If you are willing to book at the very last minute-risky I know, then you can get some wonderful deals. Late breaks they are called in the UK, and are basically the airline/vacation company selling off cancellations and other unsold seats. The company will do better selling the place at no profit but covering its costs than loosing completely, and so they do these deals.

This is very true sometimes booking at the last minute can be very beneficial. Have done this a few times simply because I can. But you need to be careful because if something comes up you can possibly lose on the deal as well.

    Re: Inexpensive Trips

You would have to read the small print to find that out. Each and every company may run their late breaks differently.

    Re: Inexpensive Trips

I've seen some cruises within Europe that are roughly in that price range, but they aren't all inclusive, so after you add food / drinks for the week the price will have went up a LOT.

    Re: Inexpensive Trips

I woudl think that it would die down and the prices would go down once you were getting further away from the sailing season.

    Re: Inexpensive Trips

There are many affordable cruise available worldwide but don't expect the same quality service like other cruises. The most important is you'll enjoy and have fun on your travel without spending large amount of money.

    Re: Inexpensive Trips

It really doesn't matter to me, as long as the cruise boat is safe just like the others and the food is decent to the point where it is eadible, I'll be just fine. I just knew all the cruises started out at at least 1000 dollars a head.

    Re: Inexpensive Trips

I like to use cruisesonly.com.  They always have great last minute deals.  Also if you sign up for email alerts from orbitz and priceline, when they have last minute clearance prices you can find some awesome trips for next to nothing.  I once booked an entire trip to Cabos, hotel flight and all meals for a week for $94.
