    Re: Get Lei'd?

Yes but only in case this is included in the price of a package.  I've flown to Hawaii twice when on business trips and did not get a lei greeting.

    Smile [:)]

Hmm, I didn't know that this greeting with the lei is also being commercialized Smile [:)]

I really appreciate this forum, it informs me of so many things about the different places which I have not gone to yet.

Once again, more power to Faremax!

Wow, I had no clue that the lei practice was commercialized too.  Now doesn't that just take the fun out of things?  Here, I'd grown up watching Fantasy Island and such, and thinking that it was just custom for them to come up and smother you in lei.  Leis?  Hehe.  That's kind of like mice and meeses.

I'd totally heard of this too. Weird. The cheese-level is like...hugeness.

Well, I'm frankly glad it is not something that happens all the time.  It would feel really weird for me to have people come at me and stick something around my neck.  I have to agree with raettopia - cheesy.

Yes, I agree with Melos.  I would not feel comfortable if this was forced upon me every time I exit the plane.
