Nude beaches - never go to regardless of any destinations. Pretty awful sight to anyone with children. I bet they need lots of sunblock cream and such, cause the sun is shining high up there in Mexico.

Avoid the nightclubs as well.  Most of them anyways.  There is a lot of crime in Mexico and a lot of the criminals hang out at the clubs and rob people (or worse) as they are leaving drunk.  Never go anywhere alone there either.

I'd say to be as careful as youwould be in any US city - and then knock it up a notch because you're in unfamilair territory... as for the nude beaches, call Greenpeace and tell them there's a few beached whales - they'll take care of it!

    lol Thumperfive!!

It's not the nudity at the nude beaches that bother me - it's the fact that most of the people that are walking around without clothing are precisely the people that would benefit most from a little coverage, if you know what I'm sayin'. ;)

I have noticed that too, how the less desirable people often are more liberal when it comes to skin exposure.

LOL, that seems to be the case with Hedonism resorts.  You might get scared if you go any time other than Spring break

I'd add to beware of the weasels trying to sell timeshare.

You can get some worthwhile perks for sitting through the presentation, but their product/service makes no financial sense to me.

I need coffee!  Coffee  I was reading this thread about nude beaches and then I saw 'beware of the weasels" and my twisted head tried to imagine what safety risk "real" weasels (the furry ones) pose to nude beach people.  Thanks for the giggle.  Smile
