I've heard of crazy spring breaks with drinking and dancing by the beach...If you arn't looking to be in the next Girls Gone Wild video, what is there to do in Mexico?

My mother loves going shopping and sightseeing, but her favourite past time on the Mexican cruises is when they set up a day for everyone to go snorkeling.  She did it once and she's completely addicted to it.  She says there are so many beautiful things to see.  Now she wants to go other places and go snorkeling.

I would love to visit Mexico, but my crazy drinking and partying days are over. Good to know theres other options.

You eat and shop and meet people.  Walk along the beach.  Sit at an outdoor cantina and have a snack.  Go to a museum or open market

Add another vote for shopping - vanilla is dirt cheap, and there are some beautiful clothes and accessories to be found. Oh, and home decor items! And, of course, blankets in colours that will blow your mind.

Depending on where you go, there's a ton of history to be explored. Ruins and structures, art, scuplture, you name it. And some of the beaches are just gorgeous.

As long as you're careful to ignore resorts during high season and spring break, you'll have a wonderful time. As mentioned, the beaches are fantastic.

There should be plenty to do in Mexico City.
