    Out of Order

Have you tried travelling and suddenly the bus stopped because of flat tires or any bus disorders? I was stranded before because the engine of the bus was out of order. It took 3 hours of repairing the bus. I waited for so long.

So many times.  I always use local bus to go my village. Once I've stopped for 8 hours because of landslide.

I've experienced that on a streetcar when there was a mechanical problem. The transit company arranges for a replacement, or a bus to keep people moving but it still causes a delay.

No, but we did have to stop because another bus had an accident. I was so thankful we didn't get there any sooner or we could have been involved.

    Re: Out of Order

Twice, but it was a privately hired bus each time. One time, 16 years old, I got stranded after iceskating with a youth group and was sat on a curbside in who knows where till 2am :(

The second, I was travelling back to uni with a desktop computer (lncluding monitor) in my suitcase! That was harsh-trying to swap buses and not have the dude THROW the case out of the hold!

Our youth group's bus also used to break down very frequently. It was never such a big deal because we were used to it so didn't go too far in it, and was always fixable on the spot. But the big busses.....oy.

We had to stop because a passenger became indignant and was trying to fight the driver So we had to wait in the middle of no where, until the police came. That took about 2 and a half hours.

So what did they do with the unruly passenger for all that time?!

    Re: Out of Order

They kept him outside of the bus but under certain laws you aren't really allowed to leave passengers in the middle of no where. This is what the driver siad. I thought it was bananas. I think he just didn't want to leave him out there liek that. I would have left him. He started walking but by the time the cops came the met him half way.
