This is the website, and since I have so far recommended it in two other threads, I decided that it was time to give it it's own space.

This is-what could best be described as a quaint little country inn. It's also the oldest continually operational inn in the country, which is fairly impressive given the size of the country!
The food is excellent, with a host of both down to earth local/historical and up market choices. I have only ever ordered steak there, because that's all I order almost anywhere, but everyone else's food looked excellent too!
There are packages available for those who want a romantic getaway, and it is closely situated to a lot of the Gettysburg site Civil war attractions. In the extended local area there are five other civil war museums and you can get a pass that allows you to do all of them over a two day period. I only managed two-I was heavily pregnant and it was just too much walking!
The also have some cute gimmics. If you go on your birthday, you get the number of years old you are as a discount off your entree. Not to be sniffed at at their prices, especially if you are somewhat older-50 years and a drivers license gets you half off your dinner!
So if you are looking for somewhere to go in South Central PA, I would recommend this wholeheartedly.
