Call of nature in the bus.

Ordinary bus in our town don't have a comfort room inside the bus. Have you experienced having a call of nature when you're inside the bus? What's your first move?

I have never felt comfortable using the bathroom on the bus. It requires a lot of maneuvering on my part. I have to have either antibacterial gel, baby wipes, or disinfectant spray and my own toilet paper. Otherwise, I feel it is too dirty.

    It's claustrophobic as well.

wouldn't you just love to beeeeeeeeeee me? "-)

I feel the same way about restrooms on airplanes.  I especially have a hard time with the feeling of claustrophobia since they are so small.  They are usually pretty clean though so that's a good thing.  I always carry antibacterial wipes in my purse to use when I'm out and about.

I usually just wait until the bus stops at a service station - I agree the restrooms on busses are dirty and disgusting.

I don't mind the ones on planes too much though.

I'd much rather wait as long as humanly possible until I can get to a decent bathroom.  If there's no

other choice, I'll grit my teeth and use the bus bathroom, but ICK!  If there *is* no bathroom, like

you said, then it becomes much more of a problem!

It is the best for the long distance buses to provide stops at selected bus stations  and allow passengers to goout and refresh.

I happened to visit a remote area in our town. It took 6 hours of travel before you arrived the place. Unfortunately, the bus don't have any comfort room. I noticed passengers who simply whisper the driver to stop the bus because of personal needs. Good for the guys it's easy for them to urinate anywhere. I laughed out loud when I saw an old lady used an umbrella and hide himself doing personal needs.

Im glad that I have never had that happen. Because I would be outof luck. You cant sti on that toilet without being splashed by the toilet water, which is disgusting as hell. as a female that isnt sanitary at all. I would have to hold it until the next stop.

Re: Call of nature in the bus.

I've answered the call only once on a bus. Other times I have investigated the facilities and decided them too dirty, but this one time we had hired the bus privately. It wasn't a bunch of strangers, and it had been well cleaned before we hired it, so our use over a short trip was not enough to make it nasty.

The problem is that I normally don't sit all the way down on a public loo......you can't hover when the loo keeps moving!

Re: Call of nature in the bus.

I sometimes use the 'Megabus' service, which doesn't allow passengers to get off when it stops at the service station.

So far I've been lucky and never felt the need to go on one of those - but this thread has made me think about that, I'm not sure what I would do in that instance.

I think if I ever use a Megabus in the future I'll be sure to a)go just before boarding, and b)limit my liquid intake while i'm on the coach!

I have always been lucky enough to avoid having ot use the restroom when on the bus.  I do not like to use those small and well you know how they are little bathrooms on a bus.

Re: Call of nature in the bus.

Oh but I have had the situation of the toilet not working. Now that has happened. So I guess maybe that is the same huh, lol. You can't really do anything but hold it or let it go. Or ask the driver to stop and leave you lol.
