Maps So Easy a Caveman Could Make Them

This is Google's tag line for it's newer map service. The old API was definately not easy to use, but this one seems significantly more so. I'm completely lame when it comes to maps but even I was able to use this. The only question is whether or not this is going to be accurate, because certain other online map services certainly are not.

I'm helping out on a site that uses Google maps at the moment, and so far it has been reasonably accurate, the only problem is that sometimes when you're plotting a location it always comes out with the marker a little too far north, so you have to re-plot it again to get it right.

I checked on some new developments locally, and it looks like Google are up to date in my area up to about a year ago - most of the new properties are listed.

I agree Googles new maps is so much easier to use and understand.  I use it over every other service out there.

I'd expect Google to do a fine job with maps, considering what they have with Google Earth.

I have had my share of problems with Mapquest, considering I haven't used them very many times.
