Disney World is to ban smoking throughout it's hotels, permitting it only at designated areas. The ban comes into effect on June 1st and I think it's a wonderful step towards a smoke free world. It's just a matter of time before it's outlawed altogether.

That's interesting news - I wonder how it will affect the visiting figures in the short term.

Its nice to see somewhere with the clout of Disney encouraging the smoke free movement though.

Really smart decision if you ask me.  My [and other] kids deserve to breathe fresh air and not that garbage. I was there just 2 weeks ago and it was absolutely disgusting to see how a few irresponsible adults were subjecting others to second-hand smoking.

I could not agree with you more Faremax-I do what I can in our home and local out and about life to protect my daughter from having to breath that. I do NOT want her subjected to it in situations that are out of my control, so this is excellent news. For what it's worth my parents smoked (me too in later life) and so I know how angry I was as a child to have to breath it, and always smell of it.
