    Convention Food

I love going to conventions, but I hate trying to eat at them - the food from the stands is invariably either cold, bland, or rubbery, and all the best places to eat around the centers are usually too busy to get served within a reasonable period of time. I'll usually eat a large breakfast, and try to last out the day on snacks, then go somewhere out of town to eat for tea. What strategies do you have for getting decent food when you're at an expo or convention?

I invariably take my own food. I was at a two day conventiontion weekend, and that is what we did.

    Thanks for your response.

That's a good idea, although sometimes not that practical - when you're lugging tons of video editting equipment around, a packed lunch on top is just another thing to get in the way :(  Still, I might try that next week - maybe cheat and pack some cup-a-soup or cereal bars in my pockets :)
