    Favorite Hotel Chain

Does anyone else have a favorite hotel chain?  I try to stay at Hiltons where ever I am traveling.  When you are a repeat cutomer they remember that and you tend to get some perks, like if you need to change rooms because you want a better view, lots of times they will do things like that easy.

I have always preferred the smaller hotels that are not part of a big corporate chain.

Do you mean B&B type places or local hotels that just don't belong to the big chains?  I think when I am traveling to a big city that I am not familiar with I am more likely to go for the chains since they have already built a reputation for themselves and have that safety net.  I do like smaller place though in cities I am familiar with.  Gives me the chance to see more of the city.

It depends on where I go, but I use Holiday Inn Express a lot. They're clean with good services.

In the past, I've really enjoyed the Holiday Inns. I think the last time I stayed at a corporate hotel, it was a Sheraton and had a great VIP perk with free drinks and free continental breakfast.
