What is the hotel chain in which you have found the best food?  Is it a chain that always has the same restaurant in the hotel, or always different?  I like the places in southern US that offer southern cooking in buffet style and have been known to choose a hotel for a great buffet. 

I like the hotel restaurant in Asian countries simply because I love Asian foods. I miss Asian style cuisine, ranging from hot curry to delicate sushi. I appreciates Asian cooking methods. It gives more art in cooking their recipes. And that's what makes their food taste good.

Oh, yummy!  I really like sushi.  Do you find that Asian cooking in an Asian country is very much

different from Asian cooking in Europe or America?

The best restaurant I ever experienced attached to a hotel was one in the Lake District - it was a small family hotel, and they made all their food on the premises using locally grown organic food.  They even baked their own bread.  The food choices were limited, and traditional foods, but boy was it delicious!

I forgot what the name of the restaurant was, but there was one in the Hotel Bellagio in Las Vegas where I went to. I believe it was a buffet and it was one of the best meals I ever had in a hotel.

I have several favorites.  A lot of hotels dowtntown have several restuarants in them and a bar.  But my favorites are those in the country that have a cracker barrel next door. 

I used to stay in Holiday Inns and ate at the restaurants in those hotels. I liked the food and I think it was pretty consistent at the time.

More recently we stayed at the Barcelo Maya near Cozumel, and it was a great property with excellent food ranging from buffets to a la carte meals.
