I hear Bucharest, Romania is a wonderful tourist city especially for those who love art. I have a friend from Bucharest but I really know next to nothing about that city. From the descriptions I've heard it's definitely a place I'd love to visit but I'd probably have to go out of my way to visit the country so I'd really appreciate some advice. Anyone ever been there and what was it like?

I have not been there personally but I've seen how it looks like in the brochures. The place is full of tourist attractions such as The Arch of Triumph, Royal Palace Great Concert Hall and House of the Free Press. Hopefully, I can visit these places soon.
