planning a trip to Hawii where should I go?

I am thinking about planning a romantic getaway for me and my husband to hawii.  Does anyone have any suggestions on where we should go and what we could do?  i have never been there before, but I hear that it is a beautiful place.

I would highly suggest visiting Hanauma Bay for snorkeling.  It will be packed with people (always is), but it was beautiful and and a really special experience for my husband who had never snorkeled before.

If you're going to be staying near Honolulu then let me know, I can give you all sorts of places to visit as that's where went for our honeymoon.  I have yet to visit any of the other islands though, so I can't help you out much on those.  I would suggest regardless of which island you stay on you try to book a nature hike.  The hikes are geared towards tourists, so they aren't really "hikes" per say, more like nature walks.  But the flora and fauna of Hawaii is absolutely amazing.
