What did you pack when you went to Hawaii? Did you pack only warm weather clothing or does it get cooler at night?

It was never cold while I was there but it doesn't mean you shouldn't pack a sweater and a light coat in case of rain.

Warm weather clothing only, but I did bring a light jacket just in case.  I never needed it though.  I did make sure to bring a wide-brimmed hat to protect from all that sun!

this is a trip you should really research before setting out on.  i don't know how serious you get about your packing trips, but my husband and his boy-hood friends would just wander off into the hills and camp for days on end.  with that in mind, i don't think you have to be real worried, but you should be prepared for heavy rain-fall.  that would be the sort of thing that would compromise how you ate, where you were able to set up camp and how you would feel if you never got your clothes dried out in 3 days time.  that can be a brutal reality and my husband has many similar stories from when he lived in hawaii.
