    What's happening in Tijuana?

I once heard that Tijuana is not a place for U.S. citizens to visit. Something about the people and the law are not U.S. friendly.

"Tijuana" (my turn to nitpick Smile has had some pretty rough moments over the years.  It's an incredibly business border town.  As long as you avoid the Zona Norte (where all the sex clubs and prostitution were moved to segregate them when Mexico hosted the Olympics and wanted to improve their image), Tijuana is just a very busy market town.  Unless you live nearby in the U.S. and want to do cheap shopping there or go to the race track, it's not really a great tourist attraction.

All U.S./Mexico border crossings are frought with complications these days.  Years ago, it was easy to go back and forth but no longer.

It's a dump, like most border towns. People go there to buy cheap Rx drugs, get drunk, hang out, etc.

Yeah, I spent some time there when I was young and single and it was a great party place, but I certainly wouldn't advise it as a general tourist attraction.
