My friend just recently came to visit me in Boston and she rented a car from Budget. It was a disaster. Among many other problems, the rental location (each time we tried throughout a week long period) refuses to answer their phone. Certain things came up that we needed to get in touch with them several times before during and after the rental car was obtained and each time my friend and I had to end up taking a bus nad subway all the way down to the airport (which is far, mind you) to confront them in person because they would never pick up the darn phone. This was soooo annoying i cannot possibly express how much. Never ever ever will i even think of renting a car from Budget ever again.

Really?  The first time we ever rented a car it was kind of a disaster like that.  Add to that the fact that we came into the airport late and we didn't know what we were doing either.

Thanks for the tip.  I'm always grateful when people share first-hand experiences like that because otherwise how would we know?

I understand why you won't be giving Budget any more of your business, but I was also wondering if you felt the service was bad because of the company's general policies or if it was a particularly bad franchise?

That was a terrible experience missinquisit. Hope it will not happen to me. I never rent a car in that kind of company. It may lead me to trouble.

it must have been a first time thing. becuase I know when I first did it I thought I was losing my mind. Just tell her not to use tht location anymore. Im sure not all of them are like that.
