    Is Korea Worth The Expense?

I've been making my 'destination list' and a return to LA is at the top, followed by Japan.

In two years time though, I'm thinking of heading to Korea. Is that worth it? I'd be mostly heading over for the G*STAR event, but since it is expensive to fly over there would stay on a while.

I've heard its not that nice a place, but the only people I know are the party holiday types that go to places like Spain every year :(

    Any comments appreciated!

It surely depends to your status of life. If I have enough budget, I'll never think for the cost because I know there are beautiful spots in Korea. Simply follow what your hearts desire.

Hi there! Rcon here! Korea is fine Asian country that is defintely worth visiting. Korea also has numerous, exciting destinations for travelers to explore. If you finally decided to visit the country, I suggest you head straight to Seoul and check out the picturesque Secret Gardens of the Changdokkung Palace.

I want to go but there are so many things that you need to learn before going over there. They have crazy traditions that are out of this world and you may find it quite difficult to live around while visiting but it's an excellant place to visit.

Before you read this, I'm very biased so you have been warned. My dad has a job in Korea so I've been living here for a few years now. Thank God I'm returning to the States next year! I mean, it's not a terrible place by all means. But it's pretty boring after the first year. If you're not from a big city like NY, or are from Europe where places close pretty early, you might like it because they have things open 'til very late here. But everything's so ridiculously expensive. I mean, if you go to a restaurant they sell coke or sprite for 4 dollars! And the Starbucks cups are pretty small too. Oh, and no big gulps here either.
