    sydney aquarium!

some quick facts and a link for you...if you love wildlife and under sea fauna.

    Aquarium Pier 2000
    Tel: 02 8251 7800 (info)
    Tel: 02 9262 2385 (info)

The aquarium's three oceanariums are moored in the harbour and the main one holds some truly impressive sharks, rays and other big fish - you walk under and around them inside transparent tunnels. The Great Barrier Reef section has beautiful corals and tropical fish. Don't miss the exhibits of freshwater ecosystems (including platypuses).

That's a good information. I never seen a real shark before. I prefer to look it in an aquarium. Are there dolphins too?

    Re: sydney aquarium!

I have heard that they have one of the best aqurariums in the world, and how could they not with the great barrier reef calling Australia home.  If I were to visit though I would love to go snorkeling in the reef, that would sure top the aquarium.

Thanks for the link. That sounds like a great tourist attraction, and a especially a great outing for people who don't go on dives but would like to see the underwater life.

By the way, did you notice that there are a couple of webcams for the animals?
