    Puerto Rico

Now that we Americans need a passport to visit neighbors above and below, I've read that Pureto Rico is now touting itself as the "no-passport-needed" destination for U.S. travelers.

I do love beautiful beaches and although I know there are a few left in this country, I'd still love to travel to an island.

Has anyone been to Puerto Rico? How long ago?  What's it like there?

    Thanks in advance.Big Smile

wouldn't you just love to beeeeeeeeeee me? "-)

    Re: Puerto Rico

I never had a chance to visit Puerto Rico. I heard there are many white sand beaches in that place. How true? What are the best places to visit in Puerto Rico?

    Re: Puerto Rico

I've been to Puerto Rico a few times already and would definitely visit again.  My favorite place to stay is Condado.  It's conveniently located with easy access to beaches and Old San Juan.  I like Puerto Rico because you are not confined to your resort area (like many other Caribbean destinations) and there are many interesting places to explore.  I love simply wondering streets of Old San Juan.  Besides that you can visit Arecibo Observatory, Bacardi Factory, Ponce just to name a few.  If you go, you will not be disappointed.

Have you been in Playa Sucia Beach in Puerto Rico? I haven't been in this place but my friend talked about it. She described this place as the most impressive beach simply because of white sand and the view of the place.
