Who Can Tell Me About Ohio?

*Ohio???*  Yes, that's right!  Is there a marvelous place in Ohio with enough entertainment for two or three days?  Where would you suggest someone who's new to the state spend a few days and not get bored?  Preferably not a city, though.

There are so much to do and see in Ohio especially things that can get overwhelming. If you're planning a perfect trip, Ohio is the best answer. Cleveland, akron, canton, columbus, cincinnati and dayton are famous Ohio tourist attractions. Have you been in Ohio Art Centers?

Well, you said no cities, but I almost have to put in a plug for my hometown, Dayton.  If you want culture we (surprisingly to many) have got it.  The Art Institute (http://www.daytonartinstitute.org/) is a must-visit (but careful, you can get lost inside!), and there's usually something a show on at the Schuster Center (http://www.schustercenter.org/).  We've got a handful of good restaurants, too.

If you're looking for something less urban, well, I can't be of much help.  But, for what it's worth, we are near Amish country.

I don't know much about the suburbs in Ohio.  I do know, however, that no visit to Cleveland Ohio is complete without a trip to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.  You can spend a whole day in this wonderful place and never get bored.

The only times i have been to Ohio was for Star Trek conventions. Yes, I am a geek. So my experiences don't transfer well, but I can tell you that the people were always very nice.

I do not know what big attractions might be in Ohio.  I have a good friend there though and am planning to go to visit soon.  If I find anything interesting along the way, I will be sure to pass it along.

Dayton sounds cool, thank you!  I don't consider it one of the bigger cities, but if I'm wrong about that, please let me know.  Smile   I just meant no HUGE cities like DC or NYC where driving is not such a great idea if one values life and limb.  Culture would be what I look for, yes.  What kinds of shows does the Schuster Center offer?

One of the famous nightlife in Ohio is food trip. Buck-i-Cafe Sports Bar & Billiards is such a nice place. You'll enjoy great food and entertainment. My favorites are best steaks and ribs.

In which city or town would I find Buck-i-Cafe (cute play on Buckeye!)?  Do they offer shows or something that would set it apart from countless other sports bars?  Is it suitable for families? Some places like that have family tables away from the bar, but others don't.

I have only been there once... and a tornado hit while I was there.  Fields turned into lakes and the ONE thing that may have been exciting (Toledo Zoo) was closed because of the tornado.  Oh yeah, I also got a horrid cut under water from a protruding rock that I didn't see.  It was really a lousy trip.  Sad
