Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with a query... does anyone know of any Insurer who would be willing to offer travel insurance to a person who has a disability caused by a medical condition... its not life threatening but there can be complications with health because of it.  I seem to be running into problems in getting anyone to insure me.

Wish I could help!  I'm diabetic and have recently heard that some insurance companies won't even insure diabetics, how dumb is that! 

I'm sure that if an insurance company did offer insurance to people with medical problems, they'd pretty soon become a force to be reckoned with in the insurance industry!

I'm surprised and sorry to hear about that. It seems that more and more we're on our own when it comes to health insurance, even aside from traveling.

Do you have any specific site about  Travel Insurance for people with existing illness or disability? I'm willing to know more details about this topic.

No idea how much they would cost comparitively, but this site at least offers travel insurance for people with existing disabilities.

You can actually go through a regular insurance company and they can refer you to some good travel insurance. I'm sure that those agents will know where to find you.
