    High Speed Trains

Have you ever travelled on a high speed train? The sort that tilts to allow it to go faster?

The first time I ever came to America I travelled from New York (Union, or Central station or whatever the really big one is that looks like gangster films could be set there) to DC by high speed. We travelled first class, and had dinner and drinks on the train, all nice and relaxed. It was a wonderful experience, but set us back $137 each person, each way.

    Nice to do once.

What you mean highspe? It's fast to the point where you actually feel as if you are going fast. or is it just a bit faster than the average train?

I agree.  You should travel by train across the countryside at least once in your life because since trains take you off the beaten track, the scenery is much more breathtaking and more enjoyable than say traveling by car or by bus.  Train travels are definitely much more memorable than using any other mode of travel!
