Before you decide to take a bus to get to your destination, do you ever check the safety record of the

bus line?  If it's an organized tour, does that make a difference, or do you still check?

Hmmm, that never really occured to me to do something like that. I mean we only have one bus line which is greyhound so I don't think I would have any reason to do anything of that nature.

That is a very good point!  I have not really thought about it before, but it is definitely worth checking into!  Have you actually called the company to enquire about their safety records?  Where they fairly forthcoming with their answers?  Was it a favourable answer?  I guess you could also check with the tour group or line as well if it was a organized trip, right?
