What are some good spring break destinations in the US?  And what sites are good to find spring break package deals on?

I don't know about the sites, but when we were living in California we traveled to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. But if you're closer to the East, you probably have other good options near the area. GC worked out pretty nice for us though, and we saw cars that came all the way from New York!

We spent a week in Cancun during spring break, and it was a very active spot.

There were plenty of organized "pub crawl" type of activities, and the opportunity was there to find your own establishments for dining and partying.

I think that the downtown area is probably more active than the hotel strip along the beach.
