    Cooking on Vacation?

When you're on vacation, do you try to get a unit with a kitchenette so you can do some cooking?

We've only done that a little while we were staying in a condo in Florida.

I have been able to get a kithchenette, and I like it now that so many hotels offer a small fridge and microwave in your room.  It makes things so much easier and gives you some options, like if you bring home leftovers from the restaurant you dont have to worry about them going bad before you have time to use them.

Some people say they go on a vacation to get away from cooking themselves, but I wouldn't mind doing some while I was away, especially if it was in a very different place from home, like the Dominican Republic or Mexico. I find it interesting buying produce and groceries in areas like that.
